The elegant design and compact size of the Brita Glass Cool pitcher with a capacity of 2.5 liters make it a perfect fit for any kitchen, becoming a perfect addition to your home accessories. The special PerfectFit system with Brita Maxtra and Maxtra Pro filters guarantees efficient filtration and constant water quality, and the Smart Light indicator on the lid monitors both the time since the last filter replacement and the amount of filtered water.

The jug is made of 60% recycled glass and 100% bioplastic*. The borosilicate glass from which it is made is light, durable and resistant to high temperatures. It is also characterized by excellent hygiene as it does not absorb odors, tastes or discolour. All parts of the pitcher are dishwasher safe at temperatures up to 60°C, except for the removable Smart Light LED indicator.

How to use

Brita Glass Pitcher - How to use it?

• Wash the bowl before the first use (it is dishwasher safe, except for the lid).
• Fill the washed bowl with cold water.
• Immerse the cartridge in cold water and shake it gently to remove air bubbles.
• Remove the filter and pour the water.
• Place the Maxtra Pro water filter into the funnel opening and press until it locks into place.
• Fill the pitcher with cold water.
• The Maxtra water filter is activated during the first two fills. Pour the water from the first two fillings or use it, for example, to water flowers.
• By the third fill, the filtered water is ready for use.
• Before using the pitcher for the first time (and after each water filter change), press the Reset button on the Brita Smart Light indicator and hold it for about 5-10 seconds until the LED flashes green three times.
• You can check the filter status at any time by briefly pressing the Brita Smart Light indicator:
  • green light: the water filter filters optimally;
  • yellow light: time to replace the water filter;
  • red light: time to replace the water filter.
• If the pitcher will not be used for a long time, remove the water filter and empty the pitcher, then place the filter tightly into an empty funnel.

How to clean a Brita jug?

• The Brita Glass filter bowl is very easy to clean - just rinse it under running water with a mild detergent or put it in the dishwasher (except for the lid with Smart Light indicator).
• Before cleaning the lid, remove the Brita Smart Light indicator by turning it counter-clockwise. Clean the Smart Light indicator with a soft, damp cloth.
