Description
Contractubex gel (50 IU + 100 mg + 10 mg)/g is an over-the-counter scar treatment intended for use after the wound has completely healed. Smoothes and weakens scar tissue, has anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative properties (inhibits the pathological increase in collagen synthesis).
Contractubex scar gel – action
The active substances of Contractubex scar gel are:
- heparin: weakens the collagen structure, increases tissue hydration, has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-proliferative properties,
- onion extract: prevents the formation of non-physiological scars, stimulates wound healing,
- allantoin: affects the renewal process of the epidermis, accelerates the healing of wounds, increases the water-binding capacity of the tissue, intensifies the effect of other active ingredients.
Contractubex scar medicine is an opaque (light beige to light brown) gel in a 20g tube.
