The Strep A Test is a rapid, easy-to-do at-home test that detects Strep A antigen in a throat swab sample, giving results in just 5 minutes . If group A antigens are present in the collected sample, a reaction occurs with the absorbed antibodies, resulting in a colored line in the T-test area on the cassette, indicating a positive test result.
