Echinacea is a plant used for hundreds of years in the traditional medicine of North American Indians.

The plant was used for any conditions that had in common infections and inflammations, manifested primarily by fever, in recent times, echinacea extract has gained a well-deserved reputation for its quality as a stimulant of the immune system, which helps prevent and reducing the duration of symptoms of seasonal respiratory infections (colds and flu).

Recent studies have shown that echinacea extract, administered during flu epidemics, reduces the risk of illness by 60%; if it is administered starting with the first symptoms, it reduces the recovery period by 1-4 days. The active principles of the echinacea plant act by mobilizing the body's defense mechanisms, stimulating phagocytosis, T lymphocytes and internal interferon synthesis, increasing the mobility of leukocytes.

Recommendations:

Echinacea extract is effective in stimulating the immune system during cold and flu epidemics, as an adjuvant in the treatment of colds and flu, other infections and inflammation manifested by fever.

Ingredients:

Echinacea purpurea extract with min. 4% polyphenols - equivalent to 1000 mg plant

Administration method:

• To stimulate the immune system, 1-2 tablets per day, during the cold season, in courses of a maximum of 4 weeks followed by a break of at least one week.
• After the onset of cold or flu, 3 tablets per day for the duration of symptoms.
• The supplement is all the more effective if it is administered from the onset of the first symptoms.

• This supplement is intended for adults.

• Not recommended for people allergic to Echinacea or related plants of the Compositae family (chamomile, calendula).
