Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid that is the primary source of energy for the epithelial cells of the gastrointestinal tract.

Sodium butyrate has a positive effect on the gut microbiome, supporting the growth of beneficial bacteria and inhibiting the development of pathogens, particularly in people with IBS and microbiome issues. The use of micropellets allows for the gradual release of butyric acid and additionally masks the characteristic odor of sodium butyrate.

The product is in the form of micropellets - thanks to the Sustained Release (SR*) formula, it gradually releases active substances in the digestive tract, which ensures better absorption and action in the right place.

Micropellets are designed to release the active ingredient gradually, depending on the environment (e.g., pH, enzymes, or transit time through the gastrointestinal tract). This technology ensures uniform release over a longer period, increasing the effectiveness of the therapy.

Recommended intake:

Adults: 1 capsule twice daily. Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule daily. Swallow the capsule whole (do not chew or spill the contents) with a meal and drink plenty of water. Use for at least 3 months.
