Elmex Gelée Tooth Gel 25 g

The elmex® gelée dental gel preparation contains amino fluorides and is intended for the local fluoridation of tooth enamel. Due to their adhesion to hard dental tissues, fluorides accumulate in their outer layers and thus reduce enamel solubility. At the same time, through their action against bacteria, they reduce or suppress the metabolism of microorganisms in dental plaque and thus prevent the appearance of caries or slow down its development.

How does elmex® gelée work?

The enamel on your teeth is similar in structure to an eggshell. Take an egg and place it in an egg cup containing elmex® gelée for a few minutes.

It is then placed in a glass with vinegar. The bubbles indicate the initial decomposition of the untreated part of the eggshell. On the other hand, the piece treated with elmex® gelée is protected from the aggressive effects of acid.

Just as elmex® gelée prevents the breaking of the eggshell, this gel strengthens your teeth thanks to the content of highly effective amine fluorides and protects them from the aggressive effects of acids.

Very good gel for teeth, against cavities, I used it in my childhood and today I have teeth without problems, as a precaution the dentist advised me to use it again.

Package size and dosage

The tube contains 25 g of gel - for about 40 brush applications. Once a week, apply about 1 cm of elmex® gelée (ie 0.5 g of dental gel, which corresponds to 6.25 mg of fluoride) on a toothbrush and brush your teeth. Rinse after about two to three minutes. It is best to use it right before going to bed. After use, it is advisable not to eat or drink, in particular it is advisable to avoid dairy products.

Contraindications:

• The preparation is intended for children from 6 years old, adolescents and adults.
• Do not use the gel if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to olaflur, dektaflur and sodium fluoride or to any of the other components of elmex gelée.
• When you have pathological changes (disease) on the mucous membrane in the oral cavity (epithelial erosion).
• When you cannot control the swallowing reflex (for example, preschool children, people with disabilities).
• For infants and young children up to 2 years of age due to the content of peppermint oil and peppermint oil.

1 g of dental gel contains: amine fluoride mixture 33.190 mg (= olaflur 30.32 mg, dektaflur 2.87 mg), sodium fluoride 22.10 mg, fluoride content: 12,500 ppm F¯

Composition

The active ingredients are olaflurum (olaflur) 30.32 mg, dectaflurum (dectaflur) 2.87 mg, sodium fluoride (sodium fluoride) 22.10 mg. The mentioned medicines contain a total of 12.50 mg of fluoride in 1 g of Elmex dental gel
