Equazen® Strawberry-Flavored Chewable Capsules are a dietary supplement designed to complement the daily diet of children from 3 years of age, adolescents, and adults.

The specialized formula is based on oil obtained from small ocean fish, a source of polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids – eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

The formula is additionally enriched with evening primrose oil (Oenothera biennis), which contains omega-6 fatty acids, including gamma-linolenic acid (GLA).

Unlike other Equazen® products, the capsules do not contain added vitamin A or vitamin D, making them suitable for long-term use. Importantly, the formula is sugar-free, dye-free, gluten-free, and preservative-free.

Each Equazen® chewable capsule provides:

• 93 mg of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)
• 29 mg of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)
• 10 mg of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA).

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function. Beneficial effects are obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA from all dietary sources.

Thanks to its easy-to-take chewable capsule form and the added strawberry flavor, Equazen® can successfully supplement the diet with omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids for children, adolescents, and adults. 

Indications:

• Dietary supplementation with omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids
• Intended use: Children 3 years and older, adolescents, and adults.

Ingredients:

• High EPA marine fish oil, humectant: glycerol; bovine gelatin, evening primrose oil (Oenothera biennis); sweetener: xylitol; strawberry flavor; carrier: powdered cellulose; gelling agent: corn starch; Vitamin E (D-alpha-tocopherol), antioxidant: mixed tocopherols
• 2 chewable capsules contain: Fish oil 800 mg, including omega-3: EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) 186 mg, DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) 58 mg; evening primrose oil (omega-6) 200 mg, including GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) 20 mg
• 6 chewable capsules contain: Fish oil 2400 mg, including omega-3: EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) 558 mg and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) 174 mg; evening primrose oil (omega-6) 600 mg, including GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) 60 mg.

How to use:

• Children from 3 years of age and adults: For the first 3 months of supplementation, take 6 capsules daily, e.g., 3 capsules twice daily, to maintain the effect. After 3 months, reduce the dose to 2 capsules to maintain the effect
• The capsules should be taken with a meal, chewing until completely dissolved
• For individuals who may have difficulty swallowing capsules, especially children, their contents can be administered mixed, for example, with dairy products (cheese or yogurt).

Warnings:

• Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients
• If you are pregnant, taking medication, or have any medical conditions, consult your doctor or pharmacist before starting supplementation
• Excessive consumption may cause a laxative effect
• The beneficial effect resulting from the declared effect is obtained by consuming 6 chewable capsules daily for the first 3 months of use, and 2 capsules daily after 3 months
• Do not exceed the recommended daily dose
• A balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important for the functioning of the human body
• The Equazen dietary supplement, 240 strawberry-flavored chewable capsules, should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet
• The dietary supplement should be stored out of the reach of small children
