Description
Throat lozenges protect the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat. They are used to relieve symptoms such as hoarseness, itching and burning in the throat and dry mucous membranes that lead to a sore throat or dry non-productive cough. Limited edition.
The causes of dry and irritated mucous membranes of the mouth and throat are varied and may include:
- excessive tension on the voice,
- difficult breathing through the nose (for example, due to a cold),
- dry air caused by heating or air conditioning,
- pollen allergy (hay fever),
- smoking.
The pills do not contain sugar and are suitable for diabetics.
Mode of use
The tablets are allowed to dissolve slowly until complete dissolution to ensure complete formation of the hydrogel complex as well as its full expansion. The tablets should not be chewed or swallowed whole.
As needed, even several times a day, suck 1 lozenge on the throat, e.g. every 2-3 hours. A maximum of 6 pills per day can be taken. It is recommended to use after meals.
Warning: Not suitable for children under 6 years. There are no data to contradict the use of throat lozenges during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Patients on a low-salt diet should note that 1 throat lozenge contains 3.2 mmol of sodium.
