Purified beeswax (M - 1173), 25 g, Mayam

Universal ingredient for the preparation of rich and protective creams, balms, lipsticks or candles. It gives consistency and stability. The purified version is appreciated for the fact that it does not influence the color of the compositions.

The wax comes from the secretion of bees for building hives and also contains elements taken from plants visited by bees.
It is a natural ingredient used since ancient times in cosmetic, medicinal products and for the preparation of candles. Being an ingredient that gives the skin suppleness and softness, it has been appreciated since ancient times for its restructuring and elasticizing action. It has a calming effect and helps the skin retain moisture. It acts as a protective barrier forming a fine layer on the skin.
Beeswax contains a series of principles that remain active even after thermal processing. Purified beeswax, which through filtration and heat treatment becomes white and with a less heavy smell compared to the yellow version, gives freedom to create compositions without influencing the resulting color or perfume. Ideal therefore for creating creams, ointments, balms with beautiful texture, lipsticks and other decorative cosmetics.

Ingredients (INCI):
White wax.

Properties of beeswax:
- thickening and texturing agent;
- increase the viscosity of the compositions;
- film-forming, forms a fine occlusive layer on the skin;
- hardening agent for sticks;
- texturizing agent for balms and creams;
- stabilizer for emulsions;
- base for candles;
- texturizing and strengthening agent for soaps;
- co-emulsifier.

- natural wax candles;
- M&P and CP soaps.

How to use beeswax:
- included as an ingredient in cosmetic care compositions: creams, lotions, protective creams, heated on a steam bath added to the oily phase, usual concentration 1 - 5%;
- in ointments, balms, anhydrous creams 1-10% by heating;
- included as an ingredient in make-up products: lipsticks, mascara, lip balm, lip gloss, 2-10%;
- included as an ingredient in the preparation of deodorant sticks in a concentration of 5-10%;
- for the formulation of solid ointments from liquid vegetable oils;
- as a co-emulsifier together with an emulsifier for making emulsions, 1-3%. We do not recommend beeswax for emulsification without the help of another emulsifier;
- combined with other waxes (candelilla, carnauba) for the formulation of sticks and lipsticks.
