Hascosept ® peppermint lozenges are a medicine for sore throat. It is indicated for the treatment of conditions and symptoms related to inflammation of the mouth and throat . It is especially useful for sore throat with redness and swelling.

The active substance of Hascosept ® in the form of hard pills with a mint flavor is benzydamine hydrochloride ( Benzydamini hydrochloridum ), which works:
- anti-inflammatory,
- analgesic,
- anesthetic,
- disinfectant.
Benzydamine belongs to the indole non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for local and systemic use. It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects and has an anesthetic and local disinfectant effect. After local administration, the drug is well absorbed, reaching high concentrations in inflamed tissues.
The package contains 24 hard pills suitable for throat pain in adults and children over 6 years old .
