Hedussin is a herbal medicine used as an expectorant. The indication for using the syrup is a productive cough, also called wet cough, especially when expectoration of retained, thick secretions is difficult.

The active substance of Hedussin syrup is a dry extract of ivy leaves ( Hedera helix L., folium). Each milliliter of product contains 8.25 mg of plant extract. The syrup can be used by teenagers and adults. The liquid formula can also be administered to children over 2 years of age.
