Indications for the use of Herpotherm

is a patented medical device intended for the local treatment of symptoms associated with herpes (herpes simplex of the lips or genitals), such as burning, tingling, itching or tightness of the skin.

Herpotherm used immediately can completely prevent the appearance of herpes. If it is used later, a slower course or an earlier cure may be obtained.

Action

Herpotherm works exclusively by applying concentrated heat and therefore the product contains no chemicals. Herpotherm can also be used by pregnant women, people with allergies and children (for self-use after the age of 12). The use of concentrated heat (local hyperthermia) is a very promising physical method, consisting in the short-term application of concentrated heat to a strictly limited area of ​​the skin. At an ambient temperature of about 50°C, the herpes virus is heat labile. Direct contact with such temperatures causes it to be deactivated. In this way, you can stop the herpes virus from multiplying. Moreover, at this temperature, heat shock proteins are produced in the cells, which stimulate the immune system. Due to the short-term application, the skin does not affect.

Use

Using the Herpotherm device is very simple. The device is placed on the skin of the lesion and gently pressed. After switching on, the ceramic contact surface heats up to a temperature of approximately 51°C. When this temperature is reached, the LED will light up. This LED turns off when the device automatically shuts down after 3 seconds of operation. An additional acoustic signal is heard at the beginning of the heating phase and at the end of operation. The therapy can be repeated after a short pause of about 10 seconds. The device can be easily cleaned with commercially available alcohol disinfecting wipes.

Tips for use

Herpotherm is intended for use by adults and children over 12 years of age only. For reasons of hygiene and to avoid the transmission of the virus, Herpotherm is intended for use by one person only. Herpes is a viral disease caused by the herpes simplex virus. This disease is transmitted by droplet infection, direct contact or contact with secretions. It is impossible to completely get rid of herpes simplex virus infection.
