Description
Hya-Joint Plus 2% is a product designed to restore synovial fluid. The medical device in a ready-to-use pre-filled glass syringe contains a transparent, clear, viscous, sterile and non-pyrogenic solution of sodium hyaluronate with a cross-linked gel structure. The indication for use of the preparation is the treatment of pain accompanying osteoarthritis (OA).
Hya-Joint Plus injections are especially recommended after arthroscopy procedures. The specially developed formula allows the use of a single injection in a treatment cycle.
Hya-Joint Plus 2% – crosslinked sodium hyaluronate in gel
Hyaluronic acid is a natural polysaccharide that is an important structural component of the skin, subcutaneous and connective tissue, occurring in the form of synovial fluid. Hyaluronic acid is identical in all living organisms and highly biocompatible. The active ingredient of the medical device Hya-Joint Plus is obtained in the process of bacterial biofermentation, which means that there are no animal proteins in the final product.
The injectable solution is characterized by therapeutic efficacy:
- can balance the mechanical stresses transferred from the outside,
- constitutes a protective barrier of the joint,
- can protect the synovial membrane and support the healing of articular cartilage.
Each ml of Hya-Joint Plus medical device contains 60 mg of sodium hyaluronate dissolved in physiological saline solution (60 mg/3 ml). The product is intended for single use and can be administered by intra-articular injection by qualified medical personnel at the doctor's order.
