For reasons of hygiene, it is clearly not recommended to store the brush next to the toilet . The best solutions are those who have a bathroom separated from the toilet. However, if this is not your case, store your toothbrushes as far away from the toilet as possible.
Do not store brushes in closed boxes or use covers . After cleaning, the toothbrush should be dried well and not crowded in a closed moist environment, which helps the emergence and development of other bacteria. Store toothbrushes upright in, for example, biodegradable Jack N'Jill cups . If there is more than one toothbrush in a cup, make sure that they do not touch each other so that they do not become contaminated.
We at Jack N'Jill recommend changing your little one's (and your) toothbrush every 2-3 months . Changing the toothbrush after an illness is a normal matter. If you or your child is sick, it is a good idea to sterilize your toothbrush after each use during illness. And when the disease passes, change the toothbrush.
However, 8 weeks may not apply to everyone. Some people wear out their toothbrush sooner. Therefore , it is important to monitor the condition of the bristles on the toothbrush . If they are worn, this is a clear sign for you that the toothbrush needs to be replaced. It is quite normal for children's toothbrushes to be changed more often than adult toothbrushes. :)
Take care of your children's toothbrushes properly and consistently. You will see that their healthy smile will be the most beautiful reward for you. :)
