Jarrow Formulas ® IP6 is a food supplement in capsules suitable for adults. The recommended daily dose of the preparation contains 500 mg of inositol from calcium and magnesium inositol hexaphosphate to be used as a supplement to the daily diet.
What is inositol?
Inositol is an organic chemical compound from the carbohydrate group. In terms of chemical structure, it is a six-carbon cyclic polyhydroxy alcohol containing six hydroxyl groups. Inositol is called "vitamin B8", but the term is not appropriate because this compound can be synthesized by the body. In addition, inositol can also be supplied with a balanced diet, mainly milk, fruits, grains and vegetables.
Vegetarian capsules from the American brand Jarrow Formulas ® use the chemical form of inositol - calcium-magnesium inositol hexaphosphate from rice bran. IP6 is a phosphorylated form of inositol that is commonly found in naturally high fiber plant products.
The recommended daily dose of IP6 Jarrow Formulas ® is 1 capsule up to 3 times a day. The package contains 60 vegetable capsules.
