Juvit D3 Max (formerly Juvit D3 Kids) is a medicine in the form of oral drops containing vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) in an amount of 20,000 IU/ml, belonging to the vitamins of the D group, cholecalciferol is produced in the skin by ultraviolet light. Vitamin D is found in food, and its main sources are meat, egg yolks and milk. Cholecalciferol has properties that increase the absorption of calcium and phosphorus. It increases the activity of osteoclasts and osteoclastic osteolysis, which leads to an increase in the amount of calcium in the blood and an increase in the concentration of calcium in the blood. The oral use of vitamin D3 allows its good absorption in the small intestine.
