Ketoangin 1 mg/ml is an aerosol for use in the mouth and throat with analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. It is intended for the symptomatic treatment of pharyngitis, stomatitis , as well as inflammation and irritation after tooth extraction (commonly called tooth extraction) and after conservative dentistry procedures.
Ketoangin - ketoprofen aerosol - how does it work?
The active substance of Ketoangin is ketoprofen in the form of ketoprofen with lysine. Ketoprofen lysine salt belongs to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), whose action is related to the reduction of prostaglandin synthesis by inhibiting the activity of the cyclooxygenase enzyme. Ketoprofen with lysine is more easily soluble than ketoprofen acid. The analgesic effect of the substance is associated with anti-inflammatory and central effects.
Ketoangin Aerosol for use in the mouth and throat is intended for adults. The package contains 15 ml of the drug in a glass bottle equipped with a dosing pump and applicator.
