Bay oil (M - 1393), 50 ml, Mayam
A vegetable oil obtained from the pulp of bay berries, appreciated in cosmetics for its purifying and regenerating properties. It is the basic ingredient of the famous Aleppo soap. It has cicatrizing, astringent and antioxidant action.
Not to be confused with bay essential oil, bay seed oil or the oily maceration of bay leaves!
Presentation:
viscous, semi-solid oil, green-brown in color, with a rather strong specific smell
Note: at room temperature it is solidified in the bottle; before use, it can be placed on a hot water bath to fluidize
On the skin:
it has a rich texture, it is slowly absorbed into the skin but does not leave a greasy film

Properties of bay oil:
-rich in antiseptic and anti-inflammatory compounds
- nutritious, contains mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids
- skin regenerator, favors scarring
-cleansing for the skin, antibacterial
- astringent and antioxidant
- emollient, protects the skin from dehydration
- beneficial for skin problems
- soothing cleansers for the scalp, anti-dandruff
-antifungal, antiparasitic, insect repellent
- it is a good foamer in soaps prepared by the cold method.

How it is used in cosmetics:
- it is an oil concentrated in active substances, it is not indicated for use as such on the skin, only diluted to a maximum of 50%
- it can be used in a mixture with vegetable oils, essential oils or various fat-soluble extracts or as an ingredient in cosmetic preparations, in a percentage of no more than 50%
- as an ingredient for the preparation of creams, emulsions and masks for skin care
- as an ingredient for the preparation of creams, emulsions, ointments and ointments for the care of the skin of the body, hands and feet
-preparation of creams or massage oils to alleviate muscle and rheumatic pains
- in compositions prepared by emulsification, bay oil is included in the fatty phase
-combined with one or more vegetable oils, to prepare an oily serum or a massage oil
- as an ingredient for the preparation of hair creams and masks, hair conditioner
- as an ingredient for the preparation of solid shampoos and CP soaps
- can be included in the cream base and hair conditioner base from our offer, in a percentage of up to 5%
- can be included in melt & pour soap bases in a percentage of up to 4%
Instructions:
- do not use purely on the skin - it is an oil concentrated in active substances and naturally contains approx. 1% essential oil
-as a general rule, before using a cosmetic preparation, it is recommended to perform a test in the crease of the elbow, at least 24 hours before application
- do not use applied in the eye area or on mucous membranes
-Keep out of reach of children; not to eat
- not to be used by people allergic to asteraceae
