Description
Olfen ® Max is a drug with analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-swelling properties in gel form. The preparation is suitable for use on the skin for the symptomatic treatment of acute pain, swelling and inflammation in the case of soft tissue injuries (sprains, dislocations, contusions). The medicinal gel is convenient and easy to use and can be applied directly to painful areas by massaging into the skin.
Olfen ® Max 20 mg/g gel – action
- The active substance, diclofenac, belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Diclofenac works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which reduces the production of prostaglandins, substances responsible for pain, inflammation and swelling.
- Olfen Max is intended for the short-term local symptomatic relief of acute pain, inflammation and swelling in cases of soft tissue injuries.
- The gel has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect at the site of application.
- The medicine in gel form is easily absorbed through the skin and acts locally.
Olfen Max, 20 mg/g, gel, 150 g is intended for adults and adolescents from 14 years of age.
