Procto-Hemolan, a rectal cream, is a hemorrhoid medication that treats and relieves the symptoms caused by hemorrhoids (pain, burning, itching, and skin tension). It contains lidocaine, which has a strong anesthetic effect, quickly relieving the most troublesome symptoms: pain, burning and itching. Tribenoside reduces the inflammation present in hemorrhoids, limits the permeability of blood vessels and improves the tension of the vascular wall. It also prevents blood clots to a small extent. In this way, it combats the causes of ailments and protects against their recurrence. The substances contained in the cream act locally and are not released into the general circulation.
