Oregano, a strongly aromatic perennial plant, used mainly as a spice, is also appreciated for its therapeutic effects.
In ancient times, the plant was used as a universal panacea for fever, toothache, and skin problems.
Today, oregano essential oil, rich in carvacrol and thymol, is used as an adjuvant in case of viruses, bacterial, viral or fungal infections, but also as a stimulant of the immune system.

How to use:

• It is a product that is not used as such on the skin, only as an ingredient in cosmetic preparations and aromatherapy compositions.
• As an ingredient in skin care preparations, oregano oil incorporated into a vegetable oil is applied to the affected area 1-2 times a day. In case of adverse reactions or stinging, discontinue use or reduce the concentration; useful in case of insect bites,
• herpes, skin infections, mycoses
• As an ingredient for the preparation of hair hygiene compositions, in case of scalp affected by dandruff, in the form of shampoos, masks, frictions or hair creams;
• As an ingredient in a mask for scalp affected by mycoses; apply weekly until symptoms improve; the mask applied to the scalp and hair is wrapped with foil and left to act for 20-30 minutes, after which the hair is washed as usual
• As an ingredient in liquid soap or shower gel used for antiseptic effect; it is especially recommended during epidemic periods
• As an ingredient for the preparation of intimate hygiene solutions, it helps eliminate problems related to a wide range of fungi, including Candida; or added to the portion of bath gel or liquid soap for intimate hygiene
• As an ingredient in antifungal ointments or balms for fingernails or toenails, or included in a vegetable oil (castor, tamanu or olive, for example)

Safety data, precautions for use:

• As a general rule, before using a cosmetic preparation it is advisable to perform a test in the crease of the elbow, at least 24 hours before application.
• Dermocaustic essential oil, do not use pure on the skin or in high concentrations
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Not recommended for children <6 years old
• Keep out of reach of children.
• External use; internal use is recommended under the guidance of a doctor or aromatherapist
