Sinupret Syrup Junior 2+ is a herbal medicine used in the treatment of acute and chronic inflammations of the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinus mucosa (ie to liquefy viscous mucus).

This medicine is indicated for adults, adolescents and children from the age of 2 years.

You should see a doctor if you do not feel better or feel worse after a week.

Do not use Sinupret Syrup Junior 2+:
- if you are allergic to the active substances or any of the other components of this medicine.

Before using Sinupret Syrup Junior 2+, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

There are no data on the use of Sinupret Syrup Junior 2+ during pregnancy. As a precaution, use
Sinupret Syrup Junior 2+ should therefore be avoided during pregnancy.

It is not known whether the active components of Sinupret Syrup Junior 2+ or their metabolism products are excreted in human milk. A risk to the nursing infant cannot be excluded. Therefore, Sinupret Syrup Junior 2+ should not be used during breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines:
No studies have been conducted on the effects on the ability to drive vehicles and use machines.

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age:
7 ml 3 times a day

Children aged 6-11 years:
3.5 ml 3 times a day

Children aged 2-5 years:
2.1 ml 3 times a day

Patients with renal/hepatic insufficiency:
There are insufficient data to make specific dose recommendations in renal/hepatic impairment.

Mode of administration
For oral administration.
A measuring cup is included.
Sinupret Syrup Junior 2+ is administered 3 times a day (morning, lunch, evening) undiluted or with a little water.
If necessary, a little liquid can be swallowed afterwards, preferably a glass of water. Sinupret Syrup Junior 2+ can be taken with food, with drinks as well as without meals. Patients with stomach sensitivity are advised to take Sinupret Syrup Junior 2+ after meals.
Shake before use.

- The active substances are: - 1 ml (corresponding to 1.2 g) of syrup contain 0.05 ml of liquid extract from 11 mg of a mixture of Gentiana lutea L., radix (gentian root), Verbena officinalis L., herba (verbina grass), Rumex L. sp., herba (common sorrel grass), Sambucus nigra L., flos (elder flower), Primula veris L. and/or Primula elatior (L.) Hill, flos cum calycibus (calyx primrose) (1:3:3:3:3); DER 1:5.6. Extraction agent: ethanol 59 % (V/V).
- The other components are: liquid maltitol (contains sorbitol), glycerol 85%, purified water, hydroxypropylbetadex, cherry flavor, citric acid monohydrate, potassium sorbate.
