Description
Swanson ® Bamboo Extract is a food supplement designed to supplement the daily diet of adults with a valuable active ingredient of natural origin. Each capsule contains 300 mg of bamboo stem extract standardized to contain 70% silica.
Bamboo ( Bambusa Shreb.) is a plant in the Poaceae family found in tropical and temperate countries. Bamboo shoots grow from an underground rhizome, and the woody blade creates a characteristic, strong stem that can grow up to 40 meters tall. The bamboo stem owes its extraordinary durability, among other things, to the high content of organic silica, which is characterized by extraordinary hardness.
A pack of 60 Bamboo Extract capsules from Swanson ® will provide two months of daily supplementation. Importantly, the preparation does not contain ingredients of animal origin, and the capsule shell is made from a vegetable derivative of cellulose. Due to this fact, a product with a high natural silica content of bamboo can be successfully included in a vegetarian diet.
