Swanson ® Super DHA 500 is a dietary supplement containing omega-3 acids, including docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). The valuable active ingredients of the preparation come from the patented Calamarine® Norwegian marine squid oil. The formula is suitable for use as a supplement to the daily diet of adults.
Omega-3 acids are among the so-called essential fatty acids (EFA), i.e. those which, although necessary for the proper functioning of the body, are not synthesized by the human body, which means that they must be supplied in a balanced diet .
Marine squid oil - properties
The marine squid oil used in the food supplement Super DHA 500 is a refined ingredient with a high level of purification. It contains omega-3 acids and is characterized by a relatively high concentration of DHA acid.

Swanson Super DHA 500 mg contains the ingredient Calamarine ® , i.e. marine squid oil, which is a registered trademark of Pharma Marine. Squid oil is rich in docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). DHA contributes to maintaining good brain function and maintaining correct vision. The described beneficial effect occurs when 250 mg of DHA is consumed per day.
