Tantum Rosa Intimate Hygiene Irrigator, 500 ml, Angelini

The Tantum Rosa irrigator is designed for vaginal douching.

It is safe, made of soft, flexible plastic.

The irrigator is reusable.

It is recommended that the irrigator be used by one person only! Women who have not yet begun having sex should not use the Tantum Rosa irrigator, as its use may lead to rupture of the hymen.

How to use:

Irrigation steps

1. Preparation:

• The contents of one sachet of TANTUM ROSA granules for vaginal solution are dissolved in ½ liter of boiled water cooled to body temperature
• Fill the container with 500 ml (½ l) of solution and screw the irrigator cannula onto the container.

2. Use:

• If possible, irrigating should be done in a sitting position, ideally in a dry bathtub (A) or standing over a shower tray (B). In any case, irrigating should be done in a safe and stable position (e.g., use a mat to prevent slipping)
• Irrigating can also be done while sitting on a bidet or toilet (C)
• Slowly insert the irrigator cannula into the vagina as deeply as possible.

3. Irrigation:

• The container should be held with both hands, with your thumbs placed on top of the irrigator body, near the cannula
• Squeeze the irrigator bellows to release the solution.

4. After irrigating:

• Carefully remove the cannula from the vagina, keeping the container firmly pressed so as not to aspirate vaginal fluids into the irrigator.

5. Cleaning:

• Unscrew the cannula from the container
• Wash both parts with warm water (up to 40°C) and let them dry.

Warnings:

• The irrigator parts are not machine washable
• Do not sterilize
• Do not heat above 40°C
• Do not use disinfectants or corrosive solutions
• Do not use irritating solutions or surfactants (detergents)
• The irrigator is strictly for individual use
