Theraflu Total Grip in capsules is a medicine indicated for the short-term treatment of cold and flu symptoms. These symptoms include mild to moderate pain, fever, chills, nasal congestion (blocked nose) and wet cough. Teraflu capsules can be used by adults and adolescents over 16 years of age.
How does Theraflu Total Grip work?
Theraflu Total Grip contains three active substances:
- paracetamol 500 mg, which is an analgesic and antipyretic (lowers body temperature in case of fever),
- phenylephrine hydrochloride which reduces swelling and congestion of the nasal mucosa; in addition, it unblocks the blocked nose and facilitates breathing by reducing the swelling of the nasal passages;
- guaifenesin, an expectorant that thins secretions (phlegm) and reduces the severity of a wet cough.
Theraflu Total Grip is a multi-ingredient cold and flu medicine. Combats the most troublesome symptoms of the disease. The drug relieves symptoms: pain, fever and chills, and also reduces mucus congestion and has an expectorant effect in case of cough with secretions. The product is indicated for wet cough and can provide relief from non-productive cough in adults (weighing more than 50 kg).
Remember that Theraflu Total Grip 500 mg + 6.1 mg + 100 mg should only be taken if all symptoms are present: pain and/or fever, stuffy nose and productive cough. Otherwise, you can choose another Theraflu medicine that will help fight the symptoms of the infection.
