Tierra Verde Essence of Freshness Shower Gel 500 ml

We developed this shower gel with an emphasis on its maximum gentle composition . It contains an optimal amount of individual plant surfactants and is also suitable for sensitive skin. The proportion of the ingredients used brings a high washing efficiency, while being gentle on the skin and careful with nature. Unlike many conventional means for general body cleansing, it does not contain petroleum derivatives, synthetic fragrances, dyes, sulfates (industrial foaming agents) or irritating anionic surfactants. Stabilization of the gel is ensured only by mild food preservatives.

The gel contains lactic acid. It removes old skin cells and reveals a younger layer of skin. It regulates the pH of the gel, but also of the skin and hair and has excellent moisturizing effects.

The refreshing citrus scent of this shower gel is provided by BIO bay essential oil. It will elevate your shower to an extremely pleasant procedure with a touch of aromatherapy.

As part of the True Eco approach and in line with our packaging evolution, we now also offer large gel packs. You can easily use them to refill a glass bottle with a dispenser and minimize the consumption of waste plastics. You can also use the larger 500ml bottle, made from 100% recycled PET.

How it is used

Massage a small amount of gel onto wet skin and rinse well. Applying the gel with a natural loofah, you combine washing with gentle peeling.

If you feel that the gel does not create a rich lather that fills your bathtub, it does not diminish its effectiveness. The reason is simple: the gel does not contain industrial foams that can irritate your skin.

Is the production of cosmetic products from soap nuts ecological and ethical?

Currently, we know of no more abundant and environmentally friendly source of natural plant detergent than soap nut skin. Trees bearing these nuts grow wild in Indian forests. Therefore, plantations are not created for their cultivation, which would be a burden on the landscape or ecosystem.

The nuts are picked by local women, for whom this work provides sustenance and helps them become independent. We are in regular contact with suppliers and our cooperation supports the sustainable development of the site and local communities.

We ship soap nuts to Europe by ship. We use the boxes they arrive in for further processing, according to the principle of upcycling.
