Nitric oxide

The heart pumps blood into the body, where it is distributed through the blood vessels. Oxidative stress

Oxidative stress is a natural state in which so-called free radicals (by-products of body oxidation) are produced in the body . Under normal conditions, they are washed out of the body, but with an inappropriate lifestyle (lack of physical exercise, chronic stress and strain, smoking, poor diet...) they begin to accumulate and damage the cells. And, among other things, the cells that form blood vessels. Oxidative stress causes nitric oxide to react with superoxide to form peroxynitrite, which damages endothelial cells.
