The white mulberry comes from China. Originally, it was cultivated for the sake of breeding silkworms, which fed on its leaves. From China, mulberry culture spread to other continents and reached Europe in the 11th century. It is quite a popular plant in Poland and is often planted for ornamental purposes. Ripe white mulberry fruits are edible, but we focus on its green leaves, from which you can prepare a tasty infusion.
Method of preparation: pour 1 teaspoon of herbs with a glass of hot water. Boil covered for 5-10 minutes.
