Intensive soothing care

The intensive care balm for nipples is suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The balm helps to prepare for breastfeeding, supports the health of the nipples and relieves the cracks that may appear during breastfeeding. Calendula extracts have excellent soothing effects, moderate irritation and promote skin renewal. The balm is fragrance and essential oil free, so it's really very gentle and there's no need to wipe it off before nursing.

Application

• During pregnancy: 6 to 8 weeks before delivery, apply a small amount of balm to the nipple and areola and massage gently. In this way, you will support a healthy preparation for breastfeeding.
• When breastfeeding: After breastfeeding, gently dry the nipple and areola and massage with a small amount of balm. In this way, you eliminate the risk of cracking and pain. Use whenever needed.

Composition

Lanolin

The consistency and composition of lanolin is similar to human sebum. It is obtained from raw wool during sheep shearing. This wax is able to bind water and has a high absorption capacity. It is therefore suitable as an ingredient in products for dry and rough skin.

Medical calendula

Calendula extract has smoothing properties and supports skin regeneration.

TOCOPHEROL

Vitamin E (tocopherol) is isolated from vegetable oils. It is used as an antioxidant.

Beeswax

Beeswax is gentle on the skin and is mainly used as an emulsifying agent and to improve consistency. It leaves a soft film on the skin that protects it from drying.

Olive oil

It works as a perfect massage oil and is suitable for normal to combination skin care. It leaves the skin soft and silky. It is characterized by a high unsaturated acid content.

Sunflower seed wax

Light yellow sunflower seed wax is a hard wax of vegetable origin. It is used to maintain consistency and as a soothing and moisture retaining wax in emulsions.
