What do Omega 3 acids contain?
Omega 3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids and play an important role in the human body. Omega 3 fatty acids include docosahexaenoic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid. Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to maintaining good brain function and plays a role in maintaining correct vision. These beneficial effects occur with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA.
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) support the proper functioning of the heart, and their beneficial effects occur when 250 mg of EPA and DHA are consumed per day.
