Pet Phos Coat Dog, 50 tablets

Pet Phos® Coat Dog flavored tablet is a dietary supplement for dogs recommended in case of hair and skin changes or in preparation for shows.

Purpose:

Strengthens skin functions in cases of dermatoses and severe hair loss. Its use is recommended for hair and skin changes (e.g., hair loss) and for trade fair preparation.

Composition:

Dicalcium phosphate, yeast and similar products, processed animal protein (pork liver), crude lecithins.

Additives:

Antioxidants: E310 propyl gallate 70 mg/kg, E320 butylhydroxyanisole (BHA) 216 mg/kg, E321 butylhydroxytoluene (BHT) 112 mg/kg.

Vitamins, provitamins and chemically well-defined substances with similar effects: E672 Vitamin A 520,000 IU/kg, 3a 700 Vitamin E 9,590 IU/kg, Vitamin B2 520 mg/kg, Calcium D-pantothenate (Vitamin B5) 4,800 mg/kg, Vitamin B6 260 mg/kg, 3a 314 Nicotinic acid (Vitamin PP) 5,230 mg/kg, Biotin (Vitamin H) 220 mg/kg.

Compounds of trace elements: E4 copper (copper sulfate pentahydrate) 50 mg/kg, E6 zinc (zinc sulfate monohydrate) 5,300 mg/kg, E2 iodine (calcium iodate) 110 mg/kg.

Instructions for use:

Animals enjoy eating the flavored tablet directly, but it can also be mixed into their food. The recommended dosage is 1 tablet per day for dogs weighing less than 10 kg and 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight for dogs weighing more than 10 kg. It is recommended to give it 10-20 days per month. It can be given continuously for up to 3 weeks prior to the show. It can be given continuously for up to 2 months.

Characteristics:

Unsaturated fatty acids are vital for dogs. Linolenic acid, in particular, is urgently needed; in its absence, the hair becomes dull and the skin becomes dry. Vitamin A is essential for the renewal of the epithelial layer. Vitamin E maintains the integrity of the cell membrane and ensures the effectiveness of unsaturated fatty acids by protecting them from oxidation. B vitamins improve hair growth and skin structure (vitamin B2), have an antiseborrheic effect (vitamins B6 and B5), and protect the skin (vitamins B2, B5, B6, and PP). Vitamin H is important for hair growth and skin balance. The trace elements zinc, iodine, and copper are necessary for keratin synthesis, i.e., for the structure of the skin and the development of a high-quality (shiny, thick, and colored) coat.
