Faringosept, 1.5 mg/ml oropharyngeal spray, solution, 15 ml, Terapia

Indications:
FARINGOSEPT 1.5 mg/ml contains the active substance benzydamine hydrochloride and belongs to the group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by relieving pain and swelling (inflammation).

FARINGOSEPT 1.5 mg/ml is indicated for the local symptomatic treatment of pain and irritation in the mouth and throat, in adults, adolescents and children over 6 years of age who are able to cooperate (for example, to hold their breath during spraying).

Contraindications:
Do not use FARINGOSEPT 1.5 mg/ml:
- if you are allergic to benzydamine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using FARINGOSEPT 1.5 mg/ml, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
FARINGOSEPT 1.5 mg/ml should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines:
FARINGOSEPT 1.5 mg/ml has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive or use machines.

Method of administration:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

FARINGOSEPT 1.5 mg/ml is intended for administration inside the throat or mouth. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Continuous treatment should not exceed 7 days.

The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age
Administer 4 to 8 sprays each time, 2 to 6 times a day (no more frequently than every 1.5 to 3 hours)

Children:
Children aged 6 to 12 years: administer 4 sprays each time, 2 to 6 times a day (no more frequently than once every 1.5 to 3 hours).
Do not use in children who are unable to hold their breath during spraying.

Children under 6 years of age:
This medicine is not intended for use in children under 6 years of age.

Elderly:
Unless your doctor or dentist prescribes different doses, the recommended doses for adults will be administered.

Composition:
- The active substance is benzydamine hydrochloride. 1 ml oropharyngeal spray, solution contains 1.5 mg of benzydamine hydrochloride.
One spray contains 0.255 mg of benzydamine hydrochloride.

Ethanol 96%
Macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate
Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218)
Sodium saccharin (E 954)
Sodium bicarbonate (E 500) for pH adjustment
Cherry flavor
