Ibolex ^® is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate acute pain of various origins in adults.

• pain in muscles, joints, tendons and bones, e.g. back pain
• dental pain, pain after tooth extraction
• pain during flu and colds (e.g. headache and pain in the limbs)
• menstrual pain
• headache

The package contains 20 tablets.

Ibolex ^® is an over-the-counter medicine containing the active ingredient dexibuprofen, which belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It helps with pain even at a lower dose and is gentler on your body.

Dosage

The initial dose is 1 tablet of Ibolex ^® (200 mg dexibuprofen), followed by 1 tablet every 6 to 8 hours as needed. Leave at least 6 hours between doses and do not exceed a daily dose of 3 tablets of Ibolex ^® (600 mg dexibuprofen) without medical advice.

If this medicine needs to be administered to adults for more than 4 days (or more than 3 days if you have a fever) or if the symptoms of the disease worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

Ibolex ^® should be taken with a glass of water or other liquid. Ibolex ^® has a faster effect if taken without food. For long-term use, it is better to take it with food, as it reduces irritation of the digestive tract.

Children and adolescents

Not suitable for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.

Contraindications

Do not take Ibolex ^® if you are allergic to dexibuprofen or any of the other ingredients of this product or if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or other painkillers. Further contraindications are listed in the package leaflet.
