Description
Ibum ® Forte is a medicine in the form of an oral suspension with raspberry flavor. The active substance of the preparation is ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. Indications for the use of the drug are:
- febrile conditions of various origins, including:
- flu and cold
- post-vaccination reaction,
- pain of various origins, mild to moderate, including:
- headache, neck and muscle pain that can occur, among others: during viral infections,
- toothache, pain after dental procedures, pain due to teething,
- joint and bone pain resulting from injuries of the musculoskeletal system, including sprains,
- pain due to soft tissue injuries,
- postoperative pain,
- earache that occurs due to inflammation of the middle ear.
Ibum ® Forte can be used in infants from the age of 3 months and in older children. The dose of the preparation is closely related to body weight. A single dose of suspension (5 ml) contains a large dose of ibuprofen (200 mg). The dose of Forte is a small amount of liquid to be administered. The medication package comes with a special measuring cup that allows you to easily measure the appropriate amount of suspension and conveniently administer it to the smallest children.
