All these Contour devices use 2 CR 2032 batteries each, unlike other devices that use only one battery, it remains to be seen the autonomy. To reduce battery consumption, I recommend removing the strip from the meter immediately after reading and recording the blood glucose in a special notebook. Advantages: very little blood, up to 60 seconds you can add blood without changing the strip, mobile phone connection, the colors red - high, yellow - low, green - normal blood glucose.
