At the same time, the beneficial white peony extract* for the skin - White Peony Pure Skin Benefits - strengthens the epidermal barrier, reduces transepidermal moisture loss and improves the skin's hydration mechanisms.

* White peony extract was specifically studied on volunteers with impaired epidermal barrier and chronic dryness due to exogenous and endogenous factors, such as vitamin deficiency (e.g. vitamin D).
