Sodium butyrate (butyric acid) is the basic energy material for the epithelium of the digestive tract. The use of microcapsule technology, unlike standard forms of butyric acid, prevents the complete release of butyric acid in the upper gastrointestinal tract and allows it to be delivered to the small and large intestine.

The microcapsule passes with the food contents into the small intestine and then into the large intestine, where additional amounts of sodium butyrate are released. The composition of the microcapsule is selected so that the release process of sodium butyrate takes place along the entire length of the small and large intestine.

Aliness brand sodium butyrate is the only product on the market that uses stearic acid, not hydrogenated palm oil, to encapsulate the active ingredient. Stearic acid is a natural fatty acid which, due to its specificity, cannot undergo a hydrogenation/hardening reaction because it is a saturated acid.

The stearic acid of the shell is of vegetable origin and is completely natural.

Ingredients: butyric acid sodium salt (sodium butyrate) in enteric microcapsule form, microcapsule shell (vegetable stearic acid), vegetable capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose).

Recommended dose: 1 capsule twice a day (morning and evening). It is recommended to use the preparation for at least 3 months.
