COMPOSITION

Active ingredient : Fipronil 200 mg/ml

Excipients (ethyl alcohol, tween 80, PVPK 30, propylene glycol) per 1 ml

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION

The Parakill product is based on fipronil, a broad-spectrum insecticide from the phenyl pyrazole class.

Fipronil blocks synapses in the central nervous system of parasites. This causes hyperexcitation of the insects' nerves and muscles, leading to their death.

Prevention and control of external parasites (ticks, fleas, lice) in dogs and cats:

– ticks: Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus bursa, Dermacentor marginatus, D. reticulatus, Haemophysalis punctata

– fleas: Ctenocephalides canic, C. felix, Pulex irritans

– lice : Tridocechtes canis, Felicola subrostrata

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not administer to animals younger than 6 weeks old, weak, old or allergic to the drug.

ADVERSE REACTIONS

Excessive salivation may occur, which resolves shortly. Rarely, transient skin reactions at the application site, skin discoloration, local alopecia, pruritus, erythema or generalized pruritus, and alopecia may occur.

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION

Topic, pour – on.

The dose used is: 1 drop / 1 kg of body weight.

The product is applied to the neck of the animal, in the area where it cannot be licked. It is active for about 4 weeks. Repeating the treatment is only done if necessary after this interval.

Simultaneously with treating the animal, it is mandatory to deworm the shelter, to prevent reinfestation of the animal with parasites.

CAUTION

The product is applied to the skin, at the nape of the neck of the animal. If a larger amount of product needs to be applied, it will be applied to several points in the same area. Immediately after applying the treatment, the animals will be protected from rain.

Avoid contact with the eyes of the animal and the operator.

Wash your hands after using the product.
