Prontosan wound care gel, 30 ml, Braun

For cleaning and moistening acute and chronic wounds, 1st and 2nd degree burns (including 3rd and 4th degrees in the case of Prontosan Gel X) Sterile, colorless ready-to-use solution / gel for irrigation and wound bed preparation in in order to remove the dressing before further treatments.

Properties:

• colorless, sterile, ready-to-use gel for application to cavitary and flat wounds;
• high tolerance and biocompatibility of the product with tissues;
• prevents the formation and removal of the biofilm when it is present in the wound;
• absorbs the unpleasant odors of the wound.

Way of ussage:

For optimal results, before treatment with Prontosan Gelse, use Prontosan Solution;

Prontosan Gel should be applied liberally to the wound bed.

Cavities and gaps should be filled with Prontosan Gel.

Dressings, gauze, compresses or other absorbent materials inserted into the wound can be moistened with Prontosan Gel before applying them.

Composition:

Purified water, glycerol, hydroxyethyl cellulose, betaine surfactant 0.1%, polyaminopropyl biguanide (polyhexanide) 0.1%.
