Description
Voltadol 140 mg Medicated Adhesive Dressing is a medicine used for the local, short-term (maximum 7 days) symptomatic treatment of pain associated with acute strains, sprains or bruises in the arms and legs as a result of blunt injuries in adolescents from 16 years of age and in adults.
It belongs to a group of medications called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Instructions for use / tipsApply a medicated plaster to the sore area. The maximum total daily dose is one medicated plaster per day, even if there is more than one injured area to treat. Treat only one sore area at a time.
1. Cut open the sachet along the dotted line and remove the medicated adhesive bandage.
2. Remove one of the two protective films.
3. Apply the dressing to the area to be treated and remove the remaining protective film.
4. Apply light pressure with the palm of your hand until complete adhesion to the skin is achieved.
To remove the dressing:
5. Moisten the dressing with water, peel off one edge of the dressing and gently peel it away from the skin.
6. To remove any product residue, wash the affected area with water, gently rubbing it with your fingers using a circular motion.
CompositionThe active ingredient is diclofenac sodium.
Each medicated adhesive dressing contains diclofenac in the form of 140 mg of diclofenac sodium.
The other components are:
- Outer layer: Polyester non-woven material
- Adhesive layer: Polyacrylate dispersion
- Tributyl citrate
- Butylhydroxyanisole
- Protective coating: Paper coated with a single layer of silicone
