Anise fruit tea, 50 g, Stef Mar Valcea
Anise is part of the Apiaceae family, being an aromatic, herbaceous, annual, heliophilous plant that prefers a warm climate. Cultivated since ancient times in Asia Minor, it was later spread both in Europe and on other continents. The plant has few and rare leaves, the small and white flowers are arranged in the form of an umbrella. The fruits are small and green, and can be harvested from the end of August to the end of September. It is also called Romanian anise, anis, anos, badean, garden cumin, hanos, molotru, oniş, sécarea.
This anise tea has the following actions: Digestive tonic, antispasmodic, diuretic, aperitif, vermifuge, emmenagogue (triggers the menstrual cycle), galactogogue, stimulates glandular secretions (salivary, gastric, intestinal, biliary, breast), estrogenic, acts on the anterior lobe of the pituitary, carminative, eupeptic; in small doses it is expectorant, and in large doses it is antiseptic, stopping the fermentation processes in the large intestine.

Indications:
This anise tea is used as an adjuvant in: intestinal colic, bloating, abdominal colic in infants, anorexia (lack of appetite), pancreatic insufficiency, indigestion, to increase the secretion of milk in the udder, dysmenorrhea, menstrual pain, bronchitis, spastic cough , asthma, flu, asthenia, psychogenic vomiting, intestinal worms.
Precautions :
It is used with caution in patients with allergic conditions. Old fruits (over 3 years) or stored in improper conditions (moisture) are not used because they become toxic. The infusion is prepared every day, it is not stored from one day to another.
Contraindications:
Pregnancy, benign or malignant tumors, mammary or genital, gastric and duodenal ulcer, colitis, anise allergy.
