Indications:
Caffetin Cold plus is a combination containing the following active substances: paracetamol, pseudoephedrine (as pseudoephedrine hydrochloride), dextromethorphan (as dextromethorphan hydrobromide) and ascorbic acid (vitamin C).
Paracetamol relieves pain and reduces fever. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant that clears blocked nasal passages. Dextromethorphan suppresses coughs caused by minor irritations in the throat and bronchi. Vitamin C strengthens the immune system.
Caffetin Cold Plus is used for the relief of cold and flu symptoms (relief of general pain, sore throat, headache, nasal congestion and lowering of temperature and relief of cough).
Composition:
The active substances are: paracetamol, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, dextromethorphan hydrobromide and ascorbic acid (vitamin C).
Each film-coated tablet contains: 500 mg paracetamol, 30 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, 15 mg dextromethorphan hydrobromide and 60 mg ascorbic acid (vitamin C).
Administration method:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Caffetin Cold Plus film-coated tablets are intended for oral administration.
The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years old is one film-coated tablet four times a day. A maximum of two administration tablets can be taken at once. The time interval between administrations should not be less than four hours.
The daily dose should be limited to a maximum of 2 tablets four times a day (8 tablets in 24 hours)
Contraindications:
Do not use Caffetin Cold Plus:
- if you are allergic to paracetamol, pseudoephedrine, dextromethorphan, vitamin C or any of the other components of this medicine.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Caffetin Cold Plus can cause dizziness in some people and therefore can affect the ability to drive vehicles and use machines. Be careful when driving or using machines until you know how this medicine affects you.
