In vitro test for determining prothrombin time (PT) in fresh capillary or venous whole blood using the CoaguChek XS/XS Plus/XS Pro blood glucose meters.

Can be used to monitor treatment with vitamin K antagonists.

Intended for near-patient testing and self-testing.

How to use:

• For use with CoaguChek XS: Each time you insert a test strip, the meter display shows the number of the inserted code chip
• Compare this number with the code on the test strip container
• If they are identical, confirm by pressing the M button
• Keep the code chip in the meter while using the test strip.

Precautions:

• For in vitro diagnostic use by trained medical personnel
• Use standard precautions for handling all laboratory reagents
