Indications:
Diclofenac Tis contains as an active substance diclofenac which is part of the class of drugs known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for local use.
It is used in symptomatic local treatment in adults to reduce pain and inflammation:
- muscular or osteoarticular of rheumatic origin;
- in the case of post-operative and post-traumatic edemas (eg sprains);
- muscular or osteoarticular of a traumatic nature (slight injuries of tendons, muscles, ligaments, etc.).
Composition:
- The active substance is diclofenac sodium. One gram of gel contains diclofenac sodium 10 mg.
- The other components are: ethanol 96%, propylene glycol (E 1520), liquid extract of hot pepper (Capsicum annum), Carbomer 980 NF, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, sodium hydroxide sol 10%, purified water.
Administration method:
Always use Diclofenac Tis exactly as your doctor has told you. You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Grown ups
Diclofenac Tis is administered 3-4 times a day to the affected area. The dose administered at each application varies depending on the surface of the affected area, being approximately 2 - 4 g of gel (corresponding to approximately 5 - 10 cm of gel).
Contraindications:
Do not use Diclofenac Tis
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to diclofenac sodium, to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or to any of the other components of this medicine (listed in point 6).;
- if you have skin lesions, such as: wet dermatosis, eczema, infected lesions, burns, wounds;
- if you have had attacks of bronchial asthma, urticaria or rhinitis allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
- if you are in the last 4 months of pregnancy.
- in children and adolescents under the age of 14.
Precautions:
- do not apply Diclofenac Tis to the mucous membranes, especially to the eyes; do not apply
Diclofenac Tis to areas with skin lesions or wounds.
- if you get a rash on your skin after applying Diclofenac Tis, stop the treatment immediately;
- do not apply Diclofenac Tis to large areas of skin and for a long time, because the occurrence of general adverse reactions, known in the case of oral forms of diclofenac, cannot be excluded.
- if you use Diclofenac Tis for a long time: you must wear gloves when applying the gel;
- if you have had or have gastrointestinal bleeding;
- do not use orally administered non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (including diclofenac) at the same time.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

In the first 5 months of pregnancy, you can use Diclofenac Tis only on the doctor's recommendation, if absolutely necessary. Starting from the 6th month, you should not use Diclofenac Tis.
As it is possible that diclofenac gel is absorbed into the blood and passes into breast milk, in nursing women a decision should be made either to discontinue breast-feeding or to discontinue/abstain from treatment with Diclofenac Tis , considering the benefit of breastfeeding for the child and the benefit of the treatment for the woman.
Driving vehicles and using machines:
Diclofenac Tis has no influence on the ability to drive vehicles and use machines.
