Modafen Cold and Flu, 24 Tablets, Sanofi

Read the leaflet carefully and completely before you start using this medicine, because it contains important information for you.
Always use this medicine as directed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Indications:
it is indicated as a short-term symptomatic treatment in case of acute infections of the upper respiratory tract: nasal and/or sinus congestion with headache and fever, acute rhinitis, sinusitis, respiratory virus and flu.

Composition:
One tablet contains: ibuprofen 200mg, pseudoephedrine 30mg, excipients.

Administration method:
Adults and children over 12 years 1 - 2 tablets every 4 - 6 hours without exceeding 6 tablets / day.

The medicine is administered for a maximum of 7 days, taken after a meal with a glass of water.

The treatment must be short (maximum 5 days).

Contraindications:

Do not take Modafen:
- if you are allergic to ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), pseudoephedrine hydrochloride or any of the other components of this medicine;
- if you are under 12 years old and weigh under 40 kg;
- if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Precautions:
Before using Modafen, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or plan to become pregnant, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.
Do not take Modafen if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Modafen contains ibuprofen which belongs to a group of medicines (NSAIDs) that can affect fertility in women. This effect is reversible upon discontinuation of the drug.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
In general, Modafen has no adverse effects on the ability to drive or use machines.
