Mucovagin ® Gel is a preparation containing low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. The medical device was developed for women who struggle with the problem of dryness of the private parts. A vaginal gel preparation can be an excellent alternative for women for whom the use of pessaries is uncomfortable or who need therapy for external intimate areas.
The active ingredient of Mucovagin ® vaginal gel is hyaluronic acid, which is a natural element of the human body. After application, hyaluronic acid binds to the wet secretion of the vaginal mucosa, creating a gel layer on its surface. It constitutes a protective barrier that protects the membrane while creating appropriate conditions for the activation of natural regeneration and defense mechanisms. The protective film created on the surface of the mucous membranes restores natural moisture, facilitates and accelerates the healing process.
