Paracetamol 500 mg, 20 tablets, Labormed

Paracetamol is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever and for the symptomatic treatment of fever and mild and moderate pain with different locations: headache, joint or back pain, toothache, pain during the menstrual cycle.

Composition:

Paracetamol 500 mg.

How to use: 

Adults and adolescents:

• 500-1000 mg paracetamol (1-2 tablets Paracetamol LPH 500® mg) at 4-hour intervals, administered as needed
• It is not recommended to take it at intervals of less than 4 hours
• The maximum recommended dose for adults is 4 g paracetamol (8 tablets Paracetamol LPH 500® mg) per day
• Children aged 6-12 years: the dose is 60 mg/kg and day, divided into equal doses, for example 15 mg/kg and a dose every 6 hours or 10 mg/kg and a dose every 4 hours
• It is not recommended to take it at intervals of less than 4 hours
• Do not take more than 4 doses per day
• Children under 6 years of age: an age-appropriate pharmaceutical form will be administered
• Contact your doctor if: treated pain persists for more than 5 days, fever does not go away after 3 days of treatment, severe sore throat accompanied/followed by fever, nausea or rash does not go away within 2 days of treatment.

Contraindications:

Do not use Paracetamol LPH 500 mg, tablets:

• if you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other components of Paracetamol LPH 500 mg
• in children under 6 years of age.

Before using Paracetamol LPH 500 mg, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:

• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine
• At therapeutic doses, in the short term, the medicine can be administered during pregnancy, but the administration will be done only after evaluating the therapeutic benefit of the mother in relation to the potential risk to the fetus
• Paracetamol crosses the placenta and is excreted in breast milk, in a proportion of 1–2% of the ingested dose
• Caution is recommended in the administration of paracetamol during breastfeeding.

Driving vehicles and using machines:

• Paracetamol does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.
