Indications:
Faringo Intensiv contains flurbiprofen. Flurbiprofen belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These drugs work by changing the way the body responds to pain, inflammation and fever.
Faringo Intensiv is used for the short-term relief of throat symptoms such as sore throat, irritation, inflammation and difficulty swallowing in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
If after 3 days you do not feel better or if you feel worse, you should see a doctor.

Composition:
- The active substance is flurbiprofen. One pill contains flurbiprofen 8.75 mg.

Administration method:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age:
One pill every 3-6 hours as needed.
Do not take more than 5 pills in 24 hours.
- Take 1 pill and let it dissolve easily inside the mouth.
- Always move the pill in the oral cavity while it dissolves.
Administration in children:
Do not give these pills to children under 12 years of age.

Contraindications:
Do not take Faringo Intensiv:
- If you are allergic to flurbiprofen or any of the other components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Faringo Intensiv, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Flurbiprofen belongs to a group of medicines that can affect fertility in women. This effect is reversible when you stop taking the medicine. These pills are unlikely to affect your ability to get pregnant when taken occasionally; however, tell your doctor before taking this medicine if you have difficulty getting pregnant.
Do not take this medicine if you are in the last trimester of pregnancy. If you are in the first 6 months of pregnancy or if you are breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before taking this medicine.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
No studies have been conducted on the effects on the ability to drive vehicles and use machines.
However, dizziness and visual disturbances are possible side effects after taking NSAIDs. If you have these disorders, you should not drive or use machines.
