Bee pollen contains stimulating substances for the body: vitamins (complex B, vitamin C, E and beta-carotene, important precursor of vitamin A and natural antioxidant factor), proteins, amino acids (all essential amino acids), simple and complex lipids, carbohydrates, substances minerals, nucleic acids, enzymes, etc. It is considered one of the most important products of the hive, with an excellent role as functional food.
